Suretank, the world's leading provider of engineered solutions to the offshore oil and gas industry has achieved certification to a key international business standard in Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSAS 18001).

This prodigious achievement not only proves Suretank’s commitment to maintain high levels of internationally-recognised standards in applying comprehensive Quality, Information Security and Occupational Health and Safety Management, it will further strengthen the company's position as the world's leading provider of engineered solutions to the oil and gas industry. This enables Suretank to have control over, and knowledge of, all relevant hazards resulting from normal operations and abnormal situations, and improve its performance.

Having achieved ISO 9001 back in 2004 and more recently been re-assessed to the current revision of ISO 9001:2015 it is clear to see that these two certifications are solid proof of Suretank’s compliance and brings further credibility to employees, customers, suppliers, partners, stakeholders, regulators, and the community at large that Suretank values and cares about health, safety and the environment.

Tom Moody, General Manager at Suretank Ltd commenting on the certification said: “It can help our organisation to put in place the necessary policies, procedures and controls to achieve the best possible working conditions and workplace health and safety, aligned to an internationally recognised standard. We are a well-established company, with over 20 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.

Mr Gatalski, Health & Safety Co-ordinator added: “It also gives us confidence and empowers us to build upon and implement even better Health and Safety management systems. In fact, OHSAS 18001 certification provides us with the structure to continuously improve our system and to prevent and avoid accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences.”
