I recently had the pleasure of visiting Abu Dhabi on a trade mission in conjunction with NOF Energy and UKTI.

It was an interesting mission and a privilege to meet so many influential oil and gas companies from the region.

1.    How long has Suretank's spare parts service been running for?

We have always offered spare parts to our customers but we have now put in place a fully dedicated team who work on spare parts and refurbishment of units. This team responds to customer enquiries and offers technical support and advice on equipment to ensure it's in safe working order.

2.    What type of products do you have available?

At Suretank Thailand we are proud of our reputation for providing high quality, competitively priced offshore containers and tanks to some of the most high-profile and well-respected companies in the oil and gas services sector operating in the AsiaPacific region.

We work closely with our customers to design and build units that exactly meet their specific requirements. One of our more recent projects is a fine example of our proven capability to manufacture customised offshore containers.

Suretank is proud to have supplied a series of heated offshore tanks and containers to Total E&P for the Laggan-Tormore project.

Laggan and Tormore are two gas and condensate fields situated about 125km north-west of the Shetland Islands in the UK. They are located 16km apart in the North Sea. The Laggan-Tormore project involves the development of the two fields and construction of a gas processing plant and export pipeline. It is thought to be the largest construction project in the UK since the London Olympics.

We were delighted to welcome our colleagues from the Netherlands, Mr Jan-Wim de Koekkoek and Mr Peter Adams. Peter was recently appointed Product Manager and will lead the offshore container activities for Suretank Netherlands.
