The Suretank team spirit was out in full force on Friday last, 14th October 2016 as we participated in GOAL’s Jersey Day!  We were delighted to take part as it always proves to be a fun day and is an opportunity to show solidarity and support for those living in vulnerable communities across the world.

GOAL is currently working in 19 countries. One of their main focuses this year is on Gambella in Ethiopia, where GOAL has been working with SouthSudanese refugees since 2013. GOAL is leading a lifesaving nutrition programme in Kule and Tierkadi refugee camps where malnutrition levels arehigh, particularly among children. GOAL is there to provide the nutritional support those children need.

All monies raised from our Jersey Day will go towards GOAL’s life-saving programmes across some of the most vulnerable communities across the developing world.

We serve customers around the world but the success and prosperity of our local community remains very important to us. Congratulations to our Business Development Manager, Matt Dack, from Suretank company Prior Diesel, who won the prestigious Proeon PGA 2016 golf tournament. Organised by engineering solutions provider, Proeon, the annual event which took place earlier this month is a great networking opportunity.  Our team from Prior Diesel enjoyed playing alongside customers from Enermech, Zone Power, Perenco, Petrofac, and many more.

On the lead up to St Patrick’s day I had the pleasure of meeting Ireland’s new Ambassador to Norway, Karl Gardner, who paid his first visit to Bergen.
The visit coincided with Bergen Irish Seactain na Gaelige (Irish Language Week) and the greening of the town’s Ulriken TV mast.  The greening of Ulriken is part of Ireland’s unique Global Greening initiative which over the last seven years has seen some of the world’s most famous sites go green to mark St Patrick’s Day. 

Suretank accompanied by our subsidiary company, Prior Diesel, and our partner Hanley Energy attended Data Centre World 2016 in the London Excel Arena on 12^th April 2016.
