Complementing the transport and storage of chemicals and fuels, servicing the offshore industry requires a range of ancillary equipment such as containers, skips, workshops, drums and baskets.
Suretank manufactures a wide range of standard products, but also one-off products to meet customers’ varied requests.
Suretank can supply whatever internal fittings which are specified by the customer.

Dry Goods Containers
Suretank’s Offshore Dry Goods Containers are used for the transport of general cargo (laundry, spare parts, work tools, etc.) in the oil and gas industry.
The containers are designed and manufactured to the DNV 2.7-1 and ISO 10855 standards (for units with a maximum gross weight greater than 25,000kg, the containers are designed and manufactured to the DNV 2.7-3 standard). There are also options which include CSC certification.
The Offshore Dry Goods Containers include internal lashing points and external tag line points. Cargo net attaching points are included as standard and can be supplied/fitted if required.
Double Cargo doors on one end are included as standard, and options are available to fit side doors, personnel doors or to other customer specific requirements.
All our Dry Goods Containers are shot blasted and painted with 3-coat offshore paint system as standard (285 microns NDFT), and customer specific painting can be included on request.
Standard sizes are 3m (10ft), 6m (20ft) and Shelved/Unshelved Mini Containers. The product can also be manufactured at any other required size up to 40ft long.
Open Top Containers
Suretank Offshore Open Top Containers are used for the transport of general cargo in the Oil & Gas industry.
Our containers are designed and manufactured to DNV 2.7-1 and ISO 10855 standards (for units with a maximum gross weight greater than 25,000kg, the containers are designed and manufactured to the DNV 2.7-3 standard). There are also options which include CSC certification.
The Open Top Containers include internal lashing points and external tag line points. Tarpaulin supports are included as standard, these are stored on the end wall when not in use. Tarpaulins can be supplied/fitted, if required.
Double cargo doors on one end are included as standard, options are available to fit side doors, personnel doors or to other customer specific requirements.
All Suretank Open Top Containers are shot blasted and painted with 3-coat offshore paint system as standard (285 microns NDFT), customer-specific painting can be included on request.

Cargo & Tool Baskets
Suretank’s Offshore Cargo Baskets are used for the transport of general cargo in the Oil & Gas industry. The Offshore Cargo Baskets are designed and manufactured to DNV 2.7-1 and ISO 10855 standards (for baskets with a maximum gross weight greater than 25,000kg, the units are designed and manufactured to the DNV 2.7-3 standard).
Our Cargo Baskets include internal lashing points, external tag line points, and tarpaulin/cargo net supports as standard. Tarpaulins and cargo nets can be supplied or fitted, if required.
Options are available to include the following:
Lids, end doors, side doors, various tool supports, mesh sides or various other additional options are available on request.

Cargo baskets can be manufactured to suit all customer requirements and can range from 4ft long up to 90ft long.
Half-Height Containers
Suretank’s Offshore Half-Height Containers are used for the transport of pipes, tools, chains, hooks and anchors in the offshore Oil & Gas industry.
Our Half-Height Containers are designed and manufactured to the DNV 2.7-1 and ISO 10855 standards (for baskets with a maximum gross weight greater than 25,000kg, the units are designed and manufactured to the DNV 2.7-3 standard).
Units are fitted with internal lashing points and external tag line points with corner castings on the bottom as standard and also available on the top.
Suretank Offshore Half Heights are shot blasted and painted with 3-coat offshore paint system as standard (285 microns NDFT), and customer specific painting can be included on request.
Suretank Half-Height Containers are available as solid sided, with removable side and with a swinging door, and to customer’s request. Standard sizes are 3m(10ft), 4.5m(15ft), 6m (20ft), 7m(23ft) and 9m(30ft). Other sizes are available on request.
Mud Skips & Waste Skips
Suretank Mud Skips and Waste Skips are used for the transport and disposal of drill cuttings in the offshore Oil & Gas industry.
Mud Skip containers are designed and manufactured to the DNV 2.7-1 and ISO 10855 standards. Mud Skips are designed and tested withstand a vacuum of -0.5atm. Standard capacities are 3.6m3 (11T Max Gross) and 2.8m3 (6T Max Gross) and any other capacity can be manufactured, if required.
Units are available with steel lids, aluminium lids or both and are available with NPT, BSP, flange and camlock fittings. Other required fittings can also be accommodated.
Suretank also manufactures skips for the transport and disposal of general waste. Standard capacities are 6m3 and 8m3, but any other capacity can be manufactured as required. Waste skips are also available lidded, if required.

Workshop Containers
Suretank Offshore Workshop Containers are used for repair and maintenance work in the Oil & Gas industry, as well as for fabrication or preparation of components for installation on the ri, whether as part of a machine or well bore.
The containers are designed and manufactured to the DNV 2.7-1 and ISO 10855 standards. There are also options which include CSC certification.
Our Workshop Containers include internal lashing points and external tag line points. Cargo net attaching points are included as standard. Cargo nets can be supplied/fitted if required.
Double cargo doors on one end are included as standard, options are available to fit side doors, personnel doors or to other customer specific requirements.
All Suretank Workshop Containers are shot blasted and painted with 3-coat offshore paint system as standard (285 microns NDFT), customer specific painting can be included on request.
Standard sizes are 3m(10ft) and 6m(20ft) shelved/unshelved containers. They can also be manufactured at any other required size up to 40ft long.
Suretank workshops can be insulated (i.e. Rockwool, Styrofoam RTM) and clad (i.e. painted steel, GRP, stainless steel, galvanised steel). These units can be fitted out with cranes, tool racks, vices, benches, tables, cupboards, drawers, pneumatic systems, water systems and fire extinguishers – as well as with other special customer requests.
Units can be supplied with electrical services, which can include lights, sockets, air conditioning, ventilation and heaters. Electrical fitouts can be suitable for safe area or hazardous environments.
Fire detection and pressurisation is also an option. Suretank can provide customised solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
Standard sizes are 3m(10ft), 6m(20ft) and Mini Container. We can manufacture any other required size.
Reefer Containers
Suretank’s refrigerated offshore container provides controlled conditions for the transportation of chilled or frozen food and additionally general cargo by road, rail and sea. The temperature control range can vary from -30°C to +30°C.
All of this equipment is designed and constructed in accordance with DNV2.7-1/EN 12079/CSC and is subject to independent certification, ensuring that your Suretank reefer, with a robust design created by our expert engineering team, will generate a longer life span than other less certified alternatives.
Optional extras are Man traps, Beacons, Temperature data loggers, Lighting, Shelving, ramp.
Internal claddings can be to various customer requirements and to suit the usage.

Units can be supplied for safe area or hazardous environments.
